The dog is young but large. Probably shepherd / lab mix. The rooster is of course more fragile. I don't think he intends to do damage and so far the rooster has survived, minus a few feathers. If I can't solve the problem either the dog or the rooster must go.

I have a 1600sqft. house newer a/c (2 1/2 ton), two differant a/c companies say unit is working fine. Why is my house 80-82* inside (90-93* outside @ time)? The thermostat is set to 68*. I am already leaving the doors in the house open to all rooms and the filter is clean also the outside unit is clear of blockage and debris. The house will cool to 68* overnight but, at about 10 a.m. it starts climbing up in temperature.

I have a lot of packages to unwrap with small items sealed in bubble wrap: I need to be able to pierce the bubble wrap cleanly and cut across smoothly and quickly. the points on the shears I am using now just aren't pointed and sharp enough, and I have a lot of trouble lately finding really good quality scissors. Any help appreciated!

i just had my bathroom remodeled a month ago, but i think i need to re-grout some areas around my bathub so that water soes not go into the walls.

how do i grout those lightly grouted areas by myself??

i know i have to go to home depot and buy a small tub of matching color grout. but what else do i need? i metal scraper thingy??

and then how do i grout it myself?

or do i just buy some of that special tape to tape around the bathub area instead of the grout?

what is the best way to do it myself? thank you!!!!!!!!!

I want to know if anyone has laid linoleum on top of MDF wood (chipboard) I want to do this in my entrance which is not heated. Should I paint the board ( or do something with it), as it is not smooth? So that the lino will adhere as best possible to the wood.

I bought an older house a while back, and bugs can get in easily. I've tried sprays, traps, etc... you name it. But they're still around. Frustrating.

Same question, different category thingy:

My room is freaking tiny and I'm trying to re-do it. I just want more space in my room and so I was looking at futons/ sofa beds first, but then I thought, hey why not a hammock!? People are saying it will hurt my back--but they've been as comfortable as ever since I can remember... Does anyone have any solid information on this?

Thanks for your responses, I appreciate it.
