You have a serious problem. If the ant's are large black ants than they are most likely carpenter ant's and they are making a meal of your house. What ever type of ant's you have they must go.

Here are some tips to get started.

Remove any water source that may attract the ant's. If your house has tree limbs over hanging the roof they need to be cut back as the limb's are the main travel route to your house. Set traps both inside and outside. Use the ant trap that has a clear jell looking substance in it not the ant hotel type. Watch at night see where the ant's are coming from as in the bathroom and the kitchen. Keep the house clean of any food scraps. When the ant's find food and water they go back to the colony and leave a trail for the rest to follow back to the food and water.

If you do all these things you should start to see a reduction in ant's very soon as they will pry on easy pic king's.

Best wishes

the easiest way to get rid of ants without killing them is to get some kind of powder cleaner like comet. Sprinkle it around the outside of your home. they won't cross the line. they usually come inside for water in dry seasons too, so maybe lightly watering your grass will help!

I had to call in the professionals to "discourage" the carpenter ants. I tried other products and they didn't do it. Carpenter ants are persistant and will not discourage easily - they're also very destructive to a home. How much do you want to share your home with the little critters?

It's real simple. Get rid of your Buddhism and kill the damn things. They don't give a damn about your Buddhism and they're gonna keep on multiplying and moving in as long as they can. Where were you raised?! Didn't anybody teach you these things when you were younger?! Wake up and smell the coffee. They do, and they're moving in!! God Bless you.

Cayenne pepper will keep them out of where you don't want them to go. It's surprisingly effective.
and non-lethal too.
