I am looking to replace my wallpaper with the same anaglypta pattern but it has been discontinued.
Where can I find this?

I am decorating my room and we have stripped the wallpaper off the walls, sanded them down, and painting it with a white undercoat, but the thing is in some places the paint seems to be cracking only on the concrete walls though. Why is this happening ??

I have a bathroom window big sized. My brother painted around the sills or whatever you call it, and it's now sealed shut the last 3 hottest months. There is no fan or air conditioning in the bathroom, and he comes over does his #1,2 and the toilet doesn't work, so it's non flushable. This is not his room, and I have told him to unseal the window or break the glass or something for air and told him not to go to the bathroom in there.

Is he sick or crazy. I need help. Who do I call to undo the window?

When we were Kids we put black spray paint on the walls of a bedroom. It has been Wallpapered since but we would now like to paint the room a light colour! How can i stop the black coming through??

it seems like alot of people have trouble with home depot when they are hired to do instillation jobs. i mentioned some remodeling i was thinking about doing and immediatly my dad said dont go to home depot!! what were peoples experiences with them..good or bad!! thanks

I handle all the fix-it stuff around the house and worked with contractors on two gut renovations + come from a family of DIY'ers. My husband, who is not so handy, recently said I screwed up because our door to the back garden opens in instead of out. I told him that is how exterior doors are - it's convention, but I'd love to give him a bonafide answer.

Not much natural light comes into the room so I want to brighten it up a bit. What color would do that and match the fireplace and hardwood floor? The only color I can think of is white but I would like to be a bit more adventurous than that!

I am trying to decide what kind of cookware set to buy. I don't want to spend a lot (no more than $150, at most) and it doesn't have to be the best, but I want a decent set that will last. I am looking at a KitchenAid Gourmet Reserved set for $129.99 (ceramic and aluminum) at amazon but I am clueless about what I really need. I cook often and I have an electric stove. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

We are moving in 3 weeks and want to put a fireplace in our new home- I like the traditional mason installed fireplaces but heard that the cost is very expensive! The newer townhomes have gas fireplaces and they seem to be nice?? Do any of you regret getting a nice gas fireplace instead of paying thousands more for a real fireplace with a chimney? I'd rather save the money if a gas one would do the trick for the house- I want the new home to be classy and I especially love a fireplace on Christmas morning with the family! Hi there, i've got a very old untreated hardwood fence that i will have to paint sometime soon, i will be using fence paint , the thing is i dont know if i should buy one of those cheap spray guns from Bunnings, or if i should paint the fence with a fence brush or a small roller, will i be able to use the spraygun with fence paint? which method uses the least amount of paint? which method is the guickest?

And I was wondering if there was anywhere i could go to give my designs and then i could pick out the fabric and materials, etc. and they'd sew it for me, since no one in my family can really sew...has anyone ever heard of a place like this cause one of my friends said they did it once but I didn't really believe her so I guess its worth a shot ;D

We just knocked the wall out between our living room and dining room for more space because our house is kinda small. We have medium pine wood floors and our sectional is a stone khaki color and our TV cabinet is black. What color should we paint our walls in the whole area? Keep in mind it is about 400 sq feet. I thought about camel tan with barn red accessories. What do you think- I'm gonna start painting Friday while my kids are in school.

WE are having maple cabinets built by a cabinet maker. We are using a medium dark stain and think a little shiny coat on top will look better than flat finish. Builder says no, but how about you? Appliances are white with marble granite counters with a little of wood color in it and many more. This, granite is polished too. We are using backslash of 4X4 flat tile in light beige tones and a few 2X2 or 4X4 tiles of granite from counter embedded in backsplash. Only a few of them. This is flat except for little pieces of granite. Thank you
