My husband's work out clothes get covered with tiny rust stains when the sweaty garments come into contact with the metal tines of the zipper on his jeans. Sometimes the clothes are left in his bag overnight. (Yeah - I know - tell him). So, how do I get them out?

We have grass flees in our house. I have sprayed, & that seemed to help. We do not have any pets in the house. I think that they come in on our pant legs, I'm not sure. I just want them gone! Thanks.

As I live alone with my son it takes a few days to get a load full of whites. These were in the bottom of the washing basket for a few days till I had a full load, but i'd absent mindedly put a wet towel on top, now about £250 worth of white clothes have dark patchy damp spots on. I have washed them on a 90 degree wash twice and although improved they have not gone. How do I get rid of them????

I know that this is stupid but I put a bathroom rug (medium size) in my washing machine. I heard it make a loud thumping noise during the rinse cycle and immediately stopped the cycle and pulled it out. I have not started it again put I could tell the rotor had been overworked because the machine was warm. Has anyone else ever done this. My husband is going to kill me if I broke it.

i have several attractive bath mats from my last apartment, and i'd like to wash them and use them in my new home (i really like the colors). is it easier / smarter to just throw them out and buy new ones, or can i toss them in the washer / dryer (or let them drip-dry)? they're standard carpet-y mats with rubber-y backing. thanks so much! :)

I use one of those 2 in 1 detergent-shine shield combos in my dishwasher but no matter how clean the dishes I put in the machine I get a few silverware covered in rust like brown spots. There is nothing wrong inside the washer as far as I can see. Any ideas for the cause or cure?

Is there any way to fix the damage I caused to my favorite sweater? It was ready to go to the dry cleaner and I tossed it in the machine on extra-care wash with my other delicates. The fabric is a viscose/rayon blend. It has definitely shrunk and the seams seem to be puckering at the shoulders. Is it gone forever?????

I tried wiping it off, but so far it has just smeared the powder. I don't want to repaint the room, so please let me know if you have found a solution to this. Thank you :)

I just brought a new iron and already it has brown liquid seeping from the holes an onto my clothes. What is the "BROWN" stuff that builds onto the irons surface and thru the holes? Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Is there a way to clean it off once it does take place? Are there certain products that you can use either way (to prevent or to treat)?

I got some New Balance shoes off ebay and have some concerns about someone else's fungus and smell and that kind of thing. Can I Febreze the inside or do they make something to do this job? I presume the shoes are not washing machinable.

It says do not machine wash or use detergent or bleach. It says to wipe with damp cloth but that doesnt get rid of the stains on my bag.
