I had put double sided tape on the back of my DVD player so I could stick it to the headrest of my car.(It didn't really work).

Now, I have been going crazy trying to get the sticky adhesive off the back of the player. Does anyone have a trick that they know to remove it?

I have tried all sorts of things in my home ie. plug ins, diffusers, pottpouri simmering pots, candles, auto timed sprays, etc. and nothing keeps a constant smell. I would like to walk into my home and smell the apple cinnamon scent or lavendar without having to turn something on, plug it in and lite it. Do you have any suggestions or any products that you have used that keeps a constant scent in your home. Mind you I live in a 2900sq ft home.
Thank you in advance for any help you can lend.

we just bought a house and the peaple who were liveing there were pigs. we didnt even get 5 feet into the house and my husband asked if i was getting bit. we looked around and we had fleas all over us. none were bighting me but he was so bit up he looked like he had the chicken pox. we have had a professional out there and he said he has never seen a infestation like the house. the house was sprayed but the fleas come back in one week. we then went to the vet and got 4 boms that cost 12 bucks a piece. this worked for about 4 days. we have a farm house. my husband has gone as far as to cut the grass so short that i think that it will die. can some one please help me. we have a 2 year old daughter that is just as allergic as her father. i dont want to take her to the house unless it is clean. i wish i could finde the people who trashed the hous and pay them back. they realy screwed the friend that we bought the house from.

We had our hot water heater break and it wouldn't drain. My husband had to drag it to the floor drain which caused a few scuff marks. I tried 409 and those Magic Erasers and it didn't work. Can I paint them?

I have bought a gorgeous cream coloured cotton mac. The problem is that my handbag straps are leaving marks on the shoulder where I carry it. This is going to cost me a fortune in dry cleaning - does anyone know if there is something I can treat the jacket with to prevent this happening?

I would like to ask on how you wash and take care of your clothes. I buy my clothes from respectable retailers and stores thinking that high prices and store name would give me good quality clothes that would last atleast 6 months or so without looking dull or colorfaded.

I grew up in a family with maids and I have no experience washing and ironing clothes til about a year ago. I want to ask some techniques or ways that I could preserve the quality of my shirts, pants and other wears when washing and ironing them.

I'm not sure what is causing the smell. It is not from an animal. I wonder if it is mildew under the carpet? I just shampooed the carpets a few days ago, but the smell is still here. Any suggestions?
