At the beginning of the wash pour a can of pepsi in with the detergent. Works on almost all odors on clothes.

Apparently some people are fortunate enough not to have this problem, but I have been in your shoes. Some fabrics, particularly synthetics (like workout shirts), hold odors. I found that soaking them in a vinegar/water mix overnight before washing works. I just keep a bucket in my laundry sink and toss my workout clothes in when I get home and they're ready next time I do laundry.

Without using store bought products, you should try using hot water and run them through twice before drying. There are products in the laundry section of the grocery store for odor control of laundry, I saw one today, but didn't pay enough attention to the name. I don't think it is very neccessary if you take a little extra time to wash your clothes twice if they are REALLY bad.

No joke. Here is what I do: First of all I wear Mitchum Deodarant for women which is very effective. Or try rubbing alcohol under your arms. It is effective all day.
Put vinegar on the offending odored blouse, wash and it shouldn't smell.

My favorite remedy for getting rid of household odors (works on everything from cleaning floors to laundry) is a mixture of vinegar, baking soda, and a little dishwashing liquid.
