So we have a bit of mold on our basement carpet. See we put this wood board from my bunkbed on it, lying on its its side, and pretty soon, there was these little greenish mold spots on the wood board's bottom and the carpet area around the woodboard. It's not a lot, perhaps 2" of mold around the edges of the wood. How can I remove it (without having to remove the carpeting), and do you know if this color mold is very toxic? I know black mold spores are the most toxic of them all...

There's an awful smell comming from the side of my kitchen sink that doesn't have the garbage disposal. I'm sure that if I open the pipe there would be alot of organic junk cought in the U pipe, which is PVC. But Last time I openned that to clean it out, I broke a washer and coldn't use that side till I got a new piece. Is there anythin I could pour down there? Not Drano, that eats the washers in my pipes.

im going to wash my dark clothing right now, but for sum reason when i put it on cold, the water is hot, and when i put it on hot/warm, its cold. so where should i turn the dial, cuz i dont wanna fade my clothing and i know cold water doesnt makes ur clothes fade out. so should i just stick with the warm/hot or go with the cold.
