I superglued something the other night, and, though I thought I was being very careful, I notice a whitish residue on my countertop the next morning. Any ideas on how to remove the residue?

Just keep on scrubbing and scrubbing and scrubbing. You may have to use your fingernails and really get under there. You could try to use nail polish remover but it might stain your countertop as well. Eventually with enough scrubbing, it will come off. I did this too.

Superglue is tricky. However, there are a number of solutions that seem to work. This site describes several possibilities. Best of luck with it.
