Try a damp sponge sprinkled with baking soda. Here is one solution I found ....
1.Squeeze on lemon juice and let set for a few minutes. Then sprinkle on baking soda and scrub gently with dampened sponge. May need to let baking soda paste set for half an hour.
2.Make a paste of baking soda and water, let set for a few minutes, then wipe clean.
3.Use club soda or a laundry stain remover, let set for a while, scrub with a nylon scrubber. Spray grease spatter with a weak solution of ammonia and water, wipe immediately. Remember counter tops can be polished with furniture polish, car or floor wax for a shiny protective finish.
Good luck with it.

there is an extremely great cleanser called Awsome which may be discovered at kin dollar and dollar many times used shops. It expenditures little and does a superb interest of cleansing. i think of the rationalization that it rather is termed Awsome is that it cleans virtually something. basically spray some comprehensive power on you countertops, wait a jiffy and wipe off. it frequently doesnt take lots scrubbing. I actual have used it on my counters to get off black permenent marker, cool help, and different stains. this is awsome. If the stain doesnt come out after the 1st time spray lower back.

You don't say which material your countertop is made of.Appears that all of the proposed solutions assume that it's Formica----if it's anything else then you need to be very specific since many other materials could be badly damaged by some of these solutions.

Bleach, full strength. I just take a bottle and put on a paper towel and wipe up the stain, if it's set in then just lay your paper towel on top of the stain for a while.

Bleach works well on white countertops. I would try Oxyclean on any other colour.

dip a slice of lemon in salt and rub it with that- but do a tiny corner first in case it makes it worse. Tannin is very hard to shift unfortunatley
