I think it's because my nephew lets the kittens in and they get in the carpet. They lay eggs too fast! The kitchen has no carpet but the hallway leading to it is carpet. My room's been bombed like I stated above, and since then they aren't as bad but they do still come in with me.. Keep it up! All good advice so far :D

Take the pet to the vet and have him dipped and treated with advantage. At the same time have the carpet removed. Bomb the room with no carpet. Then replace the carpet or better yet get hardwood floor installed. Then bring the clean pet back into the clean house and never let it go outside ever again.

Most flea powders & bombs don't work. If you have carpet use a carpet cleaner & use dish detergent in it.
Adams flea spray is the BEST we've ever used.
Seven Dust powder for outside in the yard.
And also, if you have a dog (which I'm guessing you do, lol) get a flea comb & sit down with a cup of water with a couple drops of dish detergent in it. Comb fleas off your dog & drop them in the cup.
I've been a dog owner for 20 years & these things have always worked for me.

If the kittens are old enough to use flea meds available. I have 2 dogs and the stuff works great. I use Advantage. There is stuff for tick protection as well. And then you might want to have your home professionally sprayed for fleas. They are little buggers and very hard to kill as you found out.

EWWWwwww.... you gotta try fleas med like frontline, revolution and advantage. These meds will kill fleas on your pets some time after treatment and will provide that protection needed. You gotta make sure to continue the course of treatment so flea will have no supply for multiply as their food, like it or not are your pets, now covered anti flea chemicals. Be patience and you and your family will be free of fleas. But you have to start treating them very soon.

hi umm ive had this problem just to let you know cats are born with fleas. theres a very strong dog and cat "wash" that you bathe them in its called malawash its blue i think in colour and you could try mopping your floors or shampooing the carpet with it instead of using the normal carpet shampoo or whatever you normally use. its very very potent wont stain but kills fleas instantly. if that doesnt work for you try martha gardeners wool mix its a carpet shampoo. hope it helps...

u need to use more then one bomb you need to bomb the whole house out not just one room. then if you have any animals check them for fleas. if they do you will have to buy some frontline or advantage and deflea them at the same time do house first then animals the next day.

They're extremely hard to get rid of because they lay alot of eggs every day and the bug bombs can't kill the eggs. I set off 4 bombs on back to back days and that cleared my garage.
