My bathroom is spotlessly clean and sanitized.. but it has this smell that I just cannot get rid of. I just cant figure out the origin of this smell... it has to be from one of the pipes.. bathtub, toilet bowl or washbasin.. any ideas on how to get rid of this? BTW I have tried the air fresheners.. I cannot tolerate the strong ones and the mild ones just get mixed into the existing smell and make it worse..!! Help.

I just recently bought a beautiful micro suede handbag and accidentally soiled it. I took it to the cleaners and they said that they could ruin it if they cleaned it because the chemicals could possibly melt the glue holding it together.
What should I do?

What kind of air purifier is it? Does it work for spaces up to 1000 Sq ft.? Does it really remove odors quickly and permanently? Have you found less sickness, alergies and more fresh air because of your particular kind of equipement? Roughly how much did you pay? What don't you like about your air purifier if anything? Thanx!

After a while, it tends to leave an ugly yellowing on everything it has contact with. I smoke, but hate what it does in my home. I won't go outside all the time either. Please don't say Quit! lol

I bought a pair of slip on converse (they are the ones without the laces) and I should have gotten a half size smaller because my feet tend to slip a lot around the heel. It isn't a problem, but since you can't tighten them with laces, it's hard to fix and it's kind of annoying. I can't return them and I don't want to buy another pair. If I soak them in cold water or put them in the dryer will they shrink some? Or is there anything I can put around the heel of the shoe to add extra friction? Thanks

I just moved out with a friend of mine. He brought a couch that was in his mom's basement. The couch has a weird smell that won't go away. Any Ideas? I tried Febreeze.

I work for an apartment community and I have a townhome that smells horribly like smoke. The entire place has been primed and painted (ceilings and walls), we've shampooed the carpets 3 times, washed all the woodwork down, opened all the windows for a week straight...and other short periods, cleaned all the vents, even used a home remedy of putting charcoal around the house...and it still SMELLS! Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of this? The previous owners smoked non-stop with the windows and doors closed. It was disgusting to see how yellow everything was...yuck. But anyway, do any of you have any other ideas for us to try? And it has to be affordable it's the end of the year and I have almost no budget left to work with. THANKS!

I am thinking about starting a housecleaning service in my area. I need to know how much I should charge, the kinds of things I can expect, and if it would be worth my while or should I just go to a preexisting housecleaning service and work through them?
