To not give you a redundant answer I say yessss if you want a messss.
It will not harm the dishwasher but could harm the floor or the flooring and your career.
Believe me it would be a major mess and take forever(at least 10 complete cycles)to clean the soap out of the dishwasher so it does not overflow with soap suds. Vinegar could be added to help neutralize the soap but that is not an instant cure.

Don't do it ever! I did one time and it was a sudsy mess of bubbles. I felt like I was in an "I Love Lucy" episode. And it took forever for the bubbles/suds to go away.
There's a good reason that dishwasher detergent is sold in stores....

You can't use it because it makes too many suds. Dishwasher detergent is mostly bleach.
BTW, you obviously ran out of PALMOLIVE too, because you didn't have a bottle to spell the name correctly. What do you do at that office? Empty the waste baskets? They should not allow you to write anything, since you cannot spell or write using English grammar.

In any amount you'll have suds pouring out all around the door and you'll end up having to run several cycles just to get rid ing the suds.

Oh my gosh! That reminds of the good old days! We used to do that, and boy, did my Dad get mad! Don't ever do it again ok?
Wash them buggers by hand- you hear?
Just like if you run out of gas you should push your car, don't put anything different in it than it calls for.
Okee doke, there you are then. Hope you take this as a valuable lesson.
Hee hee!

Have you ever read the Curious George book when he goes to the laundry mat and puts to much soap in? Well your office will be over run with bubbles and you wont have the man in the big yellow hat to save you.
