out of a pillow without putting it into a washing machine and turning it into a grotesque, lumpy monstrosity?

It's not THAT bad! I find that just sleeping on it and regularly washing the cover will still cause it to smell a bit after a few months. I have been buying new ones, but wondered if there was any other solutions.

LOL... put it in the wash and when you dry it put a few tennis balls into the dryer with it. it'll be a bit loud, but the balls pound the pillow while its drying to keep it from turning all lumpy.

Fabreeze or Lysol spray. Some people also take their pillows to the dry cleaners. You could replace them at the store. They lost less than $10 a piece. Pretty cheap if they stink that bad.

I buy polyester filled pillows and wash them every week, along with the sheets. They fluff beautifully and do not get lumpy. I am also allergic to feathers.

Try Febreeze but more than likely you'll have to throw it away. Shower before getting into bed. If you're during stuff in bed that makes you sweat finish up with a nice warm shower and then go to sleep.

Why do you sweat at night anyways? You should get rid of the pillow and buy a new one!

If its that bad throw it out and buy a new one. They are not that expensive. Otherwise I would take it to a dry cleaners and get them to clean it.

Dry clean it, or better yet buy a new pillow.

Take a shower before you go to bed. End of problem.
