I just recently bought a beautiful micro suede handbag and accidentally soiled it. I took it to the cleaners and they said that they could ruin it if they cleaned it because the chemicals could possibly melt the glue holding it together.
What should I do?

I have a microfiber couch and I use Folex, a carpet/upholstery cleaner, on it. It works pretty well on the couch, and it is fabulous on the carpet. I have tried other things on the couch, but so far the Folex has worked the best for me.

Brush Suede bags frequently using a suede brush. Grease marks can be removed with a little dry-cleaning fluid, such as Energine, or try a little undiluted white vinegar on a soft cloth. Brush the nap into position and allow to dry out of the sun, then brush again.
If the nap is severely flattened, steam the bag lightly over a pan of boiling water. Do not allow the bag to become too wet. Air-dry and then brush well.

I would try white vinegar and a small soft brush and see if that would clean it. If the Dry/cleaners can not do it then you might as well go for broke. Try hair spray and see if that cleans it and also rubbing alcohol too. Good Luck and I hope some of these will help you!!

They have a suede brush that can be used - if it's too much soiling for that, just try the cleaners - what have you got to lose at this point.
