What I use and works for me is to buy a bottle of ammonia and mix up a solution using distilled or deionized water. Dilution instructions may be on the bottle, but you only need about a tablespoon per quart. Put in a spray bottle and use sparingly on the window the wipe with a clean white cotton towel or cotton diaper.

Have you tried amonia and really stiff papertowels or newspaper? It might depend on how much you use (the amount of cleaner) you put on the windows, sometimes less is more and vice versa.
I use straight vinegar and brawny or store brand white paper towels. If that doesn't work I use amonia but be very careful because the fumes are awful and can make you sick.
I start from the top and move down making sure not to wipe too much in one spot.
Good Luck!

Believe it or not, but alittle dish washing detergent in warm water will do the job. The most important part is what you use to
"wipe" the window. The best way is with a squeegee! Sparkling shine every time!!

Vinegar/Water mixture.....spray on window...use newspapers or the newspaper ads to wipe. The mixture will cut grease and such, while the ink will 'polish' the glass.
