accumulating all over the garage. I rent a town house and I can't provide any openings to outdoor access for the vent. Anybody have any good ideas or contraptions I can use?

The Home Improvement stores sell a "Indoor dryer vent kit" for just such a purpose.

Knee high panty hose. I have an apartment size dryer with the same problem. I put the stocking over the opening and it catches all the lint. Just make sure you clean it out as it accumulates. To do that, just turn the stocking inside out and pull off the lint:)

At any home improvement store and maybe Wally World, there is a bucket looking device that you hook the flexible vent to so it will catch the lint. You put a little water in the bottom of the bucket so the lint will stay put and clean it out every week or so. You have a townhouse with a garage... Lucky you.

place a panty hose leg over the end to catch the lint. Use the section from the knee down.

Try a nylon hose with something like a large rubber band to keep it on the outlet. I have never tried this but it seems it should work. I have no idea how often it would need to be emptied. If it doesn't work you haven't lost much except some time.

You can use an old pair of panty hose. Just secure the end of the hose to the dryer exhaust and there you go!!

Use a pair of pantyhoes. go to walmart and get those cheap 33 cent ones, and use one of those. We have the same problem and it works perfectly. You would just have to clean it out when it gets full.
