Anything with cotton will shrink. The best thing to do is wash it, let it dry on the stand and then throw it in the dryer for 5-10 mins so its not all wrinkly.

I'll give you the best idea I have. When ever I wash clothes, I usually hang the ones that have more polyester, rayon, silk, etc. in it. I hang the newer and nicer things to keep it from shrinking in the dryer. Also, wash the polyester, rayon, silk, etc. ones in cold water to prevent it from getting ragged out. It may be time consuming at times to hang it but your clothes will last longer and look better and not "old" looking.

No, unless it is a cotton/poly knit: Then it might shrink a little. I'm sitting here now wearing the bottoms of a warm-up suit that did just that in the dryer.

What does the tag say to do? Yes, it will probably shrink.. maybe not too much. Either way, the garment will last longer if you hang it/lay flat to dry.

NO! Trust me with 65% polyester it should be fine. But in order not to iron it, take it out when it is a little moist and then hang to dry.

i would dry it by itself on the lowest temp your dryer has, or maybe hang it to dry, and iron it with the coolest setting on your iron.
