We have grass flees in our house. I have sprayed, & that seemed to help. We do not have any pets in the house. I think that they come in on our pant legs, I'm not sure. I just want them gone! Thanks.

You probably have to treat your carpets and your yard. You have to break the life cycle of the fleas as well, since insecticides won't affect the eggs that are around.

Even though these sites mostly discuss fleas and pets, there are a lot of good suggestions. I hope this helps.

If you want a non-toxic way of getting rid of fleas use 20 Mule Team Borax laundry soap. This is a safe method even if you have pets and/or kids. Sprinkle the powder all over your carpet and leave overnight. Vaccum in the morning, and repeat in about 1 week. The borax soap basically dehydrated the fleas and the eggs. It's o.k. for animals to lay on the carpet after you have sprinkled it on because it will put a light residue on your animal and will help eliminate it's fleas also. But, first you would need to treat your yard. Go to Wal-mart and purchase a yard spray that will kill fleas or you can hire a pest control company to come and spray.

I am trying something new here and don't know how well it is working yet.. But i have dogs and cats also..
I have the grass fleas too. I put a granular stuff out on the lawn around the house.. and was told to vacume really good the sofa chairs and all the carpets. then to sprinkle borax on the carpets and chairs and everything it is supose to kill the fleas.. I also bathed my dog in it last night to see if it would help.. I am going to vacume and keep spreading the borax until i can get rid of them cheaper than the vets solution.
make sure you get rid of you vacume bag every time you vacume or they willl just come back out of it and go back to the carpets.Ihave a rainbow vac so they all go into water and i dump mine down the toliet.
let me know what you find out to do for them.. You might want to try bombing your house after you put some stuff on the lawn atleast where you walk all the time.. so you aren't dragging them back in the house
good luck they are very hard to get rid of..

Bombs are great, but you have to use one and then 2 weeks later use another. Flea eggs are not hurt by the bombs.

You also need to figure out how to quit bringing them in, otherwise you will need to bomb every 2 weeks for the rest of your natural life...
