2 tablespoons of grated bar soap (bath)
1/2 cup borax
1/2 cup baking soda
If you are on a septic system dont do this very often.
Try and find a nice scented soap like Grandpas Vanilla Lavendar

Dish Soap works really well (it's even better than regular detergent on delicates), just use a little or you will have a soapy mess.

Try washing soda or white vinegar. Vinegar is a laundry wonder. It helps remove stains, reduce lint, reduces static cling, neutralizes odors and much more.

I would just add a touch of shampoo. Believe me you still have soap left in your clothes from the last wash. Washers never get all the soap out. Also if you have fabric softner, it will make your clothes smell nice and feel soft.

You can use dawn, but you have to use is sparingly or you'll get an overflow of bubbles.

One tablespoon of dishsoap,preferably not the kind with hand conditioners. Use the 'extra' rinse option if your washer has it.
