I need to know what kind of mop (old school stringy or Swisher or sponge) and which cleaners to use for each type of floor. For example, does water with a little bit of white vinegar work?

I think the scratches are from aluminom pots, pans, maybe stainelss pots or silverware. They don't come off w/ detergent and scrubbing w/ a Scotch-Brite sponge. Any ideas?

My husband wore it while he was in Iraq and it has black stuff between the links, how do I get it off and restore it to the way it looked before?

It's red and a girl told me to wash it by hand which I
did and the water turned all red. Then I wore it and to be
safe washed it by hand and it ran again! Will this ever stop?
You can make a joke about me catching it but I beat you to it.
Thanks.

I have a lot of clothes that have been sitting in the closet for about 6 months. They have developed a strange smell (Like standing water). What do I do to get it out?
I am planning on putting them in storage for another six months. Is there anything I can buy and put in the storage containers along with the clothes to get the smell out while they are stored?

Curtains are the typical (I think) off-white ones you see in SF Bay Area - kind of creamish color...

Apartment Manager says we need to replace and the dry cleaning laundry whose number the manager gave both said its not possible to get those stains out without bleach - so we need to replace them.

Is there a non bleach solution to this problem without replacing the curtains?

Also are there rules/statutes on how often curtains need to be changed based on how long a tenant has lived in that apartment? Just like carpets etc.

Haven't used it in years. Now it's rusty. It's a really good wok. I'd like to rescue it if I can.

How do I get the rust off but still have it safe for foods.

I have a house cleaning business and while cleaning a home today I can upon many black worms. They ranged in size from 1 cm to 1 - 1 1/2 in. long. They are no thicker around than a Q-Tip (the stick between the ends). What are they? They showed up overnight according to the homeowner. Can ANYONE help me, do I need to call an exterminator????

I have plain white counter top. I am not sure what the material is. But it is slowly picking up stains like whine and tea or scuff marks from pots and pans.

We wash everything is cold and separate the loads by colors and we occasionally get blue dye stains ruining our clothes. We even separate the dark blues and light blues and it still happens. The washing machine is only a year old and we can't figure out how this is happening.

I have this firm comfy pillow I bought about a month ago and already its gotton lumpy. There's this huge Grand Canyon style crack down the middle of the pillow between two large lumps of pillow stuffing. I've tried giving it a pep talk and fluffing it up, I even tried kneading it like bread dough, but no positive results.

Any suggestions?
