If you leave laundry for the laundry fairy do you get a dollar under your pillow or do you get clean laundry back? And what does she do with my other sock?

I think they are on strike. But, to make sure, put a load of whites in your washer, start the cycle, close the lid, turn around three times in front of your washing machine chanting "Fairy, fairy, where are you?" --then open the lid really fast! If your fairy is not there, it is on strike.
