I have plain white counter top. I am not sure what the material is. But it is slowly picking up stains like whine and tea or scuff marks from pots and pans.

If it is an acrylic or formica coutertop, the age old trick for removing stubborn stains is Perk floor polish. You put a little on a rag and rub the spot. I used to use on my old vinyl flooring and counter tops. It would take out cool-ade, mustard, and old stains you would never believe. That new magic eraser by Mister Clean is pretty amazing too!

Bleach or a sprig that consists of bleach. I frequently purely use the spray, disguise the section with a paper towel, and enable it sit 5 minutes or so, then wipe it up. i take advantage of the paper towel so I undergo in ideas what's happening there, and ward off getting bleach spots on my clothing.

Try using bleach (full strength), then taking some paper towles and wiping over it to pick up excess. Be careful not to bump up against it or wear some old clothes.

Plus this will sanatize your counter tops.

Assuming it's Formica and not artificial or natural stone---bleach works well, or else a bit of abrasive cleaner like Ajax, which has bleach in it. You may need to let the bleach stand for a while.

I use the foaming bathroom cleaner. I get it at the dollar store. (Orange can by Bissell) I spray it on my counter top and let it sit for about 5 minutes, then wipe off with paper towels. It works great for me and doesn't cost much!
