We wash everything is cold and separate the loads by colors and we occasionally get blue dye stains ruining our clothes. We even separate the dark blues and light blues and it still happens. The washing machine is only a year old and we can't figure out how this is happening.

Just a few thoughts. Are you overloading the washer by any chance, so it is not draining or rinsing properly? This way, it may still have some of the water from the dark clothes "lurking" around the next time you go to do whites. Are you using the extra rinse cycle (assuming you have one)? Do you check and empty all pockets before washing (sorry, but that is *my* favorite trick and I've ruined a few of my husband's shirts that way leaving my pen in my pocket). Can the stains be coming from your dryer? Sometimes new jeans will leave their dye on the dryer blades and if you immediately put in white clothes, it will transfer if it is still warm. Do you use a blue colored concentrated detergent? If so, are you letting it dilute enough before you are adding the clothes? Maybe the color of the detergent is actually getting into the clothes and not rinsing out. I've found that these new *super-concentrated* detergents tend to cause some problems if not handled carefully. Had some awful bleach-blots from them due to that. Anyway, just some suggestions. Good luck.

I would say if you are sorting your clothes correctly as you say you are then there is surely a problem with the washer....if still a warrenty you need to address the company you purchased it from. On the other hand to get the stains out you might try to use 20 MULE TEAM, BORAX.....found in laundry dept at local markets with the color safe bleaches. I have found it really works wonders on the stains my 5 yr. old brings in the house. Good Luck to you!

The temperature of the wash water impacts the overall performance of the detergent to 3 degree. besides the fact that, water temp isn't as significant because it as quickly as grow to be. purely very grimy products like artwork denim choose warm water cleansing. maximum outfits could be washed in chilly water. it fairly is the warm dryer that motives shrinkage greater often than warm wash water. warm water is plenty greater probably to reason fading of colours, and conversely may additionally set in any stains. I type and wash my outfits in accordance to colour and texture. I wash my tub towels one after the other from outfits, because of the fact the towels shed lint that could finally end up everywhere in the clothing if washed at the same time. i do no longer use bleach on whites till they are stained, because of the fact bleach degrades the fabric even whilst utilized moderately. I wash all denim at the same time. I wash lighter weight fabric at the same time. I wash knit and woven darkish colours at the same time till i'm particular they gained't bleed. Washing your outfits interior-out will shield the unique colour longer. The abrasion of the clothing against one yet another and the bathing gadget indoors motives some colour loss. it fairly is fairly genuine of revealed fabric, and t-shirts with a layout. those prints are often on the exterior purely, and subsequently greater at risk of abrasion.
