The more I clean, the more I see needs to be done. There is always something not clean enough, the floor, the glass, the yard, the car, I am killing myself and it still looks the same. I work full time but I have been off for a week and have had no relaxation.

The weather has been unseasonably warm here (S/W Ontario) & several of my spring bulbs actually began to sprout. I think it's my paper whites coming up.
Should I just leave them as they are or cut them back?

I mean, since it really isn't a stain and there won't be any stain remover to get it out, why not just make a dye to color the red back to the original carpet color. Does anything like this exist?

We just moved to Menlo Park and there is a grape vine trained along the fence which appears to need to be trimmed. When is the best time to trim it, and how?

If my three goldfish plus two other tiny fish are living in a pond, what should the temp. be for them to live in?
I went outside recently to check on them & feed them and the biggest goldfish Turbo was moving quite slowly, and what worries me is maybe the water temperature is too cold or if he's sick. I can't tell.
The water temperature right now is about 45-50 deg.

Can anyone help??
Thank you!

Does anybody know where to purchase NOT the commercial flowers but the plants that grow them? You know like the ones you get from the florist. I would love to grow some in the garden.
Thanks

Ok, I have to do my own laundry now. Don't tell me to use Clorox and stuff, we don't EVER use that stuff, all we use is hand held stain removers, detergent, and downy softener. How do you wash WHITE CLOTHES? what detergent do you use, and do i use soap? and when i put them in the dryer, what do i put it on? Same for Coloreds, Jeans, Bedding, Sweats, White bathroom towels/washcloths, and colored bathroom towels/washcloths. and one more thing, sorry, what do you put the washer on? On my washer the settings are: Whitest whites, Heavy duty, normal/casual, delicate, hand washables. and like i asked for the dryer, the settings on my dryer are: heavy duty, Normal, bulky items, casual, delicate. Thanks!!!!!!!! remember, we only use detergent, downy, and sprayable stain removers, NOTHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANKS THANKS THANKS THNKS THANKS THANKS THAKSTHANKS THANKSTHANKS THANKS THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

We've only lived in our home for 9 months, the house is roughly 30 yrs old. We have never had a back up in our basement. However, there is a drain in the floor of our basement that from time to time omits a strong smell. I'm no plumbing expert, so any advice will be helpful. The tube/line from our central air unit drain into this drain. About 6"-9" down the drain is where the nasty dark murky water is, but it has never backed up. I guess my first question is... is this normal? If not, what should I do to eliminate the smell? Thanks!

I have central AC and Heat. The unit is Rheem..model number is unknown at this moment. We turn it on, it warms up, reaches the desired temp, and kicks off. When the temp drops and it's time for the heater to kick back on, it blows only cold air so then we have to go and turn it off and then back on. After we do that, it will blow hot air again but only until it reaches the desired temp in the house and then we have to start all over again. I have heard a lot about thermocouplers but my husband went up there and said he didn't see one on the unit. So what could it be?? I am hoping it is something we can fix ourselves. Any help would be so much appreciated. Thanks!!

I DO NOT want liquid nail, I need something that removes easily. The biggest mirror is about 16 inches, and 1.5 pounds. The smallest is 3/4 inches. These mirrors are permanent, but just in case they look stupid, or I'm sick of them, i want an easy way to remove them. I also DO NOT want to use traditional mounting because that would take FOREVER, and the mirrors are frameless so it might be tricky and hard.

Thank You!

I am concerned that removing our downstairs toilet will devalue the house and as our young son gets older feel that it will be useful to stop little muddy footprints being trapesed through the house. My partners argument is we have limited storage space and need somewhere to put coats and a pram.
The Toilet is behind a door in part of the porch by the front door and is separated from the lounge by another door. Another concern is the potential smell as you come into the house. At the moment a compromise is that we remove the sink and toilet and cap the plumbing so we can put it back at a later date if we want to. Any Ideas on what kind of value this facility may add to a house?

Today, I found that the wrapped loaf of white bread in our pantry was mauled. About half of it was missing, and presumably eaten by something. Closer inspection revealed a 1.5" hole in the plastic bag on the bread (GROSS). Is this a mouse? Roaches? I haven't found any pests or droppings of any kind in my house, and we don't have pets. The bread was stored off the floor on a shelf in our pantry. No other food appears to have been similarly affected. I am so grossed out and want to prevent this from happening again.

I feel like tossing everything out. I feel crowded and confused with the stuff in my house.
Everyone says that my house is clean and neat - but to me if feels crowded - - and I hate draws/piles of stuff.
I would like to get rid of my coffee table and most of my books - clothes - other stuff. - they seem like a waste of space.

Should I toss....?
Or is this because of Christmas.
Anyone else feel this way?
