Our furnace will start running, after turning it off and turning it on, but won't stay on. It starts and does heat but it is only staying on for a few minutes and then it shuts off. We installed a new thermostat a couple of years ago (RiteTemp) that is programmable and we have done a hard reset. I have taken the thermostat off the wall to see if it would also reset itself but that didn't work. My hunch is that it is the thermostat but I am open to other possibilities. Any thoughts? Ideas?

What am I doing wrong? My whites don't stay white; they eventually turn yellow & dingy? And yes, I use bleach!

It's alot cheaper than other airpurifiers, it uses water to clean the air, mist does not come out of it like other purifiers. Should that mean something? Has any of you seen, used, or heard of this air purifier? Any reviews?

With all the differences of gardening opinions and practices of today, mainly "Organic" vs "Non"Organic do you think it would be in the best interest of Y/A to add the category of "Organic" Gardening? This way the non-organics wouldn't be butting heads with the organic group and vice versa. What do you think about a separate category?

I've had enough! As soon as I plug up one hole, they find another! What is the best thing to use to kill the whole colony? Preferably something I can put by a trail for them to take back to the colony....

my mom got an offer to buy a house for 89,000 dollars it has 4 rooms a living room a dinig room 2 restrooms 2 garages a pool and a jacuzzi. We have a house with 5 rooms right now we got it for 84,000 and i must say i like it better thatn the other one but the pool is a big plus. The new house is by another school but is just 5 minutes away from my current school. The offered house is smaller and has some fixing up to do but my mom is going to put our current house for rent

I have a Square D, QO250GFI breaker. I'd like to use #4 Stranded Cu with it. But it only goes to #6 for Cu? Why couldn't I just install #4 Cu if it will fit?

There is no access to clean these huge windows, I live on the 2nd floor. Is there any electronic gadget that cleans the outside when you use it to clean the inside of the windows. Please suggest what I should do, as the dirt on the exterior does not allow me to open the curtains which exposes the stains.

I received my favorite gardening catalog in the mail the other day, and now I'm planning my garden. Are there any other gardeners out there who have started planning their gardens already? What do you plan to put in them? Just curious... :o)

I have a reading lamp which only allows for up to a 40W incandescent globe. I want to replace it with a fluorescent, probably an 18W which is supposedly the equivalent of a regular 90W. Can I do this? I'm assuming that since these bulbs allegedly save up to 80% energy, they draw less power, and won't burn out the lamp. The reason I want to go to an 18W is because the equivalent of a regular 40W simply won't be bright enough. I've tried these globes, and they definitely do not give out as much light as an incandescent. Thanks to those who reply.

This hot water heater sometimes overheats and sometimes wont kick on but I think the slime may be insulating the thermostat.
