During a snow and ice storm the large brances from their tree snapped off and fell on my property. Who is liable to clean these branches away?? They are very heavy and a lot of them and cost would be expensive to remove them.
Neighbor is a very thick headed woman and should not have planted this tree so close to the property line in first place- Along with that its right next to a retaining wall which is starting to collapse.
Thank god you dont have a neighbor like this ....

Thanks for any information anyone may give ( legally)

I want to install a fluoroscent light in my patio (covered). I have a CGFI protected socket nearby and the light goes on the shingles.

Now here are my questios

1) Will fluoroscent lights work well in all tempratures (30-110 F)
2) What type of electrical wiring do I need to use outside ?
3) What type of screws do I need to get this to stick on the shingles ?

I have cinderblock walls in my basement that have some nail holes in them where studs were nailed to the wall. When it rains, these holes let a small bit of water in. I plan on using
drylock on the walls, but should I fill in the holes first? If so, with what? Hydraulic cement? Caulk? Any and all help would be appreciated, the wife wants it done this weekend (or else)!

Is there an advantage to having heat ducts in the ceiling? I miss having them in the floor. I used to sit on them when I was a kid and I probably still would to this day- or I'd at least put a chair very close to one!

I have a small palm (5 ft.) that is growing at a 45 degree angle over my driveway. I was thinking of placing a board on the driveway to push the tree so it would grow straighter. I also thought about using a strap to pull on it to make it grow straighter. Would these methods work? Talking to it proved fruitless.

We bought a used dryer, which had a four prong plug that we had to replace with a three prong plug (we live in an older house). It worked fine for a couple weeks, and then all of a sudden it wouldn't start. I really don't want to haul it to town (we live in a rural area) unless I have to. Any suggestions on what we could try?
