use wood putty over the burn, then let it dry; sand the area smooth to the touch and to an even surface (not harsh sandpaper) and polish over it with some type of deck protector so the finsih matches the rest of the table.

You could do what others are saying with wood putty but it will never look good. The filled area will be a big spot with no grain. If the burn is not deep, sand it clean and refinish the table. If it is a deep burn it would look better if you drill a 3/8 or 1/2 inch hole where the burn is and plug it with the same kind of wood. You can buy plugs or use a plug cutter and a drill to make your own. If you can't find find the right wood, cut a plug from a hidden area of the frame of the table. Make sure to fill that hole. You can align the grain of the plug to match the table. Sand the plug flat and stain to match the existing wood and apply one or two coats of varnish to the whole top.

It all depends on how deep the burn is. Try to use some sandpaper & then refinish the table, or if you might actually like the look, then attack the table with a propane torch & put burn marks all over it.
I did a quick search...Try this...

You could cover it up with a doily or a magazine or take a butane burner and make a pattern with the original burnt,or burn the table and get a new one.

You might have to use some sand paper and sand it out, then re-finish the table with paint of laquer (or whatever the table had on it.)
Cheers

sand it out.
if its not a deep burn and the table has a finish on it you might be able to buff it out.

it depends on how deep it is if it is light you can sand it and refinish, if it deep you sand it till the "hole" is clean and reasonably smooth and fill with wood putty sand when dry then refinish
