I have cinderblock walls in my basement that have some nail holes in them where studs were nailed to the wall. When it rains, these holes let a small bit of water in. I plan on using
drylock on the walls, but should I fill in the holes first? If so, with what? Hydraulic cement? Caulk? Any and all help would be appreciated, the wife wants it done this weekend (or else)!

Fill any leaking holes with Hydraulic Cement. Wear gloves and hake sure you push it into the holes. Hydraulic cement won't work if it doesn't have something to push against. So placing it on the surface won't work. Use it in the seams where the block sits on the floor also. Mix small amounts because it drys in like 5 min. To put on the Dryloc you can rent a texture sprayer at Home depot and spray it on and have someone else come behind you with a heavy nap roller and back roll it. This will push the paint into all the crevices. It will take two coats but it drys fast. The sprayer will make a mess so cover anything you don't want paint on and wear old clothes and glasses.
