I want not to just get them out but keep them out. I don't have closets for my clothes and I have lots of them. I just washed the whites and had to get rid of tons of clothing where the "dust" that gathered on the sleeves and collars and seemed to stain the shirts. Everything hangs on hangers. I was thinking about putting the whites in bags like you get at the dry cleaners. I used shout and tide and bleach but the "stains" still didn't come out. Sad because some of the clothes I never even got to wear. How do you get these stains out and what is a good way to keep them off my clothes?

My wife and I rent a really nice house but there's one glaring problem....ROACHES!!!! The tenants that were here before us were absolutely nasty. Anyway, we had an exterminator come out a few weeks back and spray. We've seen a noticable difference, but they're still around. The exterminator cant' come out for another two weeks but this problem is disguisting and needs to be solved now. Any over the counter products I can use BESIDES BOMBS (I have 2 cats and 2 dogs) that will effectively get rid of these things???

Its the same kind I have and everything. So I think it is a bit boring, so I like to spice it up and add things. When I went into 5th grade I added a bunch of stickers that said things like "Your a star" and "Its a girl thing!". They got really annoying so I took those off and I need something else, that looks cute, and hopefully I could find around my house. Can you give me any ideas?

We just replaced our air conditioning unit, I asked to keep the old unit because I know that there is copper inside of it. Besides the copper is there anything else of value that I can recycle for $$$ off our old system?

I am going to be renovating/remodeling much of my home (kitchen, 2 bathrooms, flooring, etc.). I was wondering if anyone has ever used Direct Buy for the supplies? I hear that you get quality products for less. Does anyone know how Direct Buy works? I would also love to hear any personal experiences or suggestions of where to get supplies!

Thank you so much!

Has anyone ever tried a wood grenade as a wedge to split wood. It looks like a diamond that comes to a point. I've used it several times and so far it's worked pretty good. What are your experiences with it?

Not the soap or detergent...it's something you put in separately. And I'm sure they come in different smells...
I just don't like my clothes smelling soapy or detergent-y.

I have some dried varnish type stuff on my tile bathrrom floor.
I also have some drain unclogger that is concentrated sulfuric acid.
Can I use the acid to dissolve the varnish on the tile?

Also, how can I dilute the acid to clean the rest of the tile?

I was using the drain opener and it melted the pipes and spilled on the floor. Now, that area looks much cleaner than the rest of the floor (I was already flushing with water, so no harm done). I want the whole floor to look like that.
The floor is 56 year old mosaic tiles.

Please be specific, as I want to do this carefully. I know sulfuric acid can be dangerous stuff.

We have a gas stove with an electric ignition. At first the oven dial would not turn, you could push it down but it would not turn and thus would not ignite. We have not had time to work on it until today(about 4 days total unusued). But now we got the dial to turn and push down but it is as if there is no gas coming out to ignite. How can we fix this with out getting a profession and without buying a new one?
