Not the soap or detergent...it's something you put in separately. And I'm sure they come in different smells...
I just don't like my clothes smelling soapy or detergent-y.

liquid fabric softener is what you are requesting it comes in an variety of fragrances..You can add it in the fabric softener ball when you start the machine and after the first spin rinse cycle it will release automatic or you can wait for the signal ..you can also buy fabric softener sheets for the dryer...Also if you do not like the smell of washing powder use less or try the perfume free fragrance.

Do you mean a product like Downey? One of the fabric softeners? You can usually buy them anywhere (supermarket, drugstore, hardware store, Costco, Smart & Final) laundry detergent is sold. It comes in liquid form as well as in dryer sheets.

Don't buy a huge container unless you know that you like that odor. Also I have been disappointed by some of the unknown cheaper brands because generally it's watered-down and not as effective or good smelling.

Put one cup of vinegar in two quarts of water. Use that and a rag to clean the front seal, making sure you get behind it & inside all the folds. Pour very hot water into the dispenser & 2 cups vinegar inside the washer. Run a load with hot water wash. You need to clean the seal once a month or so & wipe it down with a dry rag after doing laundry. Continue to leave the door open when not in use. Dilute your fabric softener with water or use vinegar instead. The vinegar will remove all the soap from the clothes & leave them soft. The smell is gone once they are dry, leaving them smelling fresh.

They're called dryer sheets. They go in the dryer. You can buy them wherever they sell laundry detergent. You can also buy fabric softener that goes in the washer. These come in a variety of scents

You can always use a sachet in your clothes dresser and chest of drawers. Gain detergent also gives clothes a really nice fragrance. I thought they had a dryer sheet too. In fact, someone once told me they buy the dryer sheets and leave them open in their laundry room to aerate throughout the house.
