Im 18 and my parents say that my room smells kinda funky so i want to make it smell better. I dont want it to smell like potpourri or anything spicy. I just want it to smell fresh and clean and not girly. Open to suggestions. Thanks

Hi.

One of my bedrooms was divided in half by a piece of wood (like a baseboard but in the center of the wall). I was going to repaint the room and removed the piece of wood. I didn't plan on putting the boards back, but will if I have to.

When I removed the boards, some of the old paint came off with it, so when I repainted the surface of the wall is very uneven. Is there something I can do to fix this or do I just put the boards back on?

Thanks!

I was going to make a box for my girlfriend and do some other creative things with it well i needed to do something cheaper so i thought of writing a poem for her and writing it on clay and decorating it and framing the clay but I want to make the frame myself how would i go around doing that? I want it to be a 8X10 or would it be cheaper to just go buy a frame but I need to fit a thin thing of clay. Please help.

It's puzzled me ever since I saw my first home with a seperate bathroom and toilet.

It's not like we're the poorest continent, and have to have our plumbing exactly in the same room.

Why do we choose to put the dirtiest thing around (a toilet) in the same spot where we try to make our bodies their freshest and cleanest?

All it takes is a thin wall and an extra door.

Part of me thinks it must just be the momentum set by the original British colonists who probably had a habit of not changing their underwear or brushing their teeth.

I saw a reasonably priced open up sofa bed in leather at Jennifer sofa The bedframe is standard. I'd need to put extra padding under the mattress to be comfy. In another store I saw a sofa not leather for similar price where the sales person said the frame is made by a company in business for 80yrs still need extra padding under mattress. I read several reviews about Jennifer sofa leather sofa not good thumbs down. But I love the look of leather. The differance between these two sofa beds is apprx 300$. Don't tell me no brainer. Please offer knowleable advice How to know if you're buying a quality sofa bed for under 1000. How to pick out a good open up bed part. PS I need this bed to sleep on daily for the next year. thanks

i have two weeks left before christmas break at school my goal is to finish a project in shop class that im making for my mom. we r building grandmother clocks. i have everything made and put together except for weights for the middle. how long do u think it would take to stain the clock, wait for it to dry, and put 3 coats of polyurethene on it. and also i live in a cold area and i get out of school on the 21st and am planning on bringing the clock home if i finish it. would it be ok to put it in my garage (which has no heat) for a few days until christmas eve night when we will bring it out before my mother goes to bed?

Our outside Christmas lights burnt out. Well, nothing was tripped in the electrical box but we reset all anyway. Ended up, the outside outlet doen't work anymore. Our lights worked after we used an extension chord and plugged it into another outlet. Question: What does it take to make the electricity work in that outside outlet now? Is it expensive?

Thanks so much in advance!!!

I hear scratching noises coming from my bush in my front yard! I tried to take a broom and gently move the branches around. I just saw a bunch of muddy mulch in a very thick ball-shape. I couldnt see any opening and it is such a thick bush that I couldnt seperate without disturbing the nest. I honestly dont know what is in there, but Im very worried! It is winter here and the snow just melted. If I didnt hear this scatching noise I wouldnt have known it was there! I never see birds around my front yard, so honestly I dont know whats in there!
