Unless you know what you are doing with propane leave it to a licensed person. It also requires changing the pressure on the valve Assembly. You need a water column to do that.

Call a heating and ventilation company in your yellow pages or a propane tech from there as well.

Propane is very dangerous unless you know what you are doing. Much more than natural gas.

talk to a propane dealer in your area. they will have a regulator to suit your purposes and the fire places I've installed usually come with orfaces for natural gas or propane and instructions on changing them out. Good Luck

The easiest way to do this is to get the company that is switching you from N/G to Propane to swap the tubes . If they won`t do it, call in a pro and let them set up your burner so as not to cause any problems and also check your chimney. Not something you should do yourself, from a safety point of view

I know you don't want to hear this but just changing the orifice won't make it a propane set. It is more trouble than it's worth. You'll have to buy a new set.

Your local propane company should be able top provide you with one. They're very simple to change.

Your gas supplier should supply you with the parts to do the conversion or they may even do it. Otherwise contact the manufacturer of the fireplace for the conversion kit.
