How can I make a cat bed that sits in a window that is as squishy as my pillow with out damaging the window? (if you know 0f websites with ideas provide links)

The reason I don't make one is I'm a college kid amd $20-$40 is a lot

Upholstery foam, with fabric covering will do the deal.

Since you don't state any space measurements, why not just buy one? The prices are reasonable.

Even 1 inch tick sponge foam will work; if you choose to create one as a DIY. Measure the area available; cut an oval or circle. It need not be huge; as a cat rarely STRETCHES out in a bed like a dog might. 18 diameter would be plenty. Then with the same thickness of foam; create the side. 6 inches high would be plenty, enough to go around the perimeter of the base; and cover it in the same fabric.

Then stitch the upright side to the base, and put some NIP in it initially to attract the cat if it seems wary of this new addition..
