My husband is a former Marine, so you know he is fanatical about neatness and everything in it's place. The thing is, we have a 6 month old that is nursing, an 18 month old that is into everything as soon nas I can clean up. The laundryroom is in the basment and i can't leave two babies up stair alone so of course the laundry is mounding up like kilamonjaro. This all makes my husband not very happy. He tries to help me, but usually ends up watching football. what can i do? i am trying to stay up at night to get things done, but with a nursing baby i have to stop like every two hours to feed her! HELP!

when we moved into our house, there was no stove, so we used the stove from our old home. BUT... the stove is about 2 inches narrower than the spot where it has to sit so there are gaps on either side. it doesnt really look that great and things fall down between the stove and cabinets. does anyone have any suggestions besides buying a new stove??? thanks in advance!

Why are most outdoor Christmas light sets only 2-pronged? Outdoor outlets are always 3-pronged and I worry that there will be an electrical hazard when plugging a 2-pronged plug into them.

Someone just came to my door selling a "rack" of wood. I asked him how much is in a rack and he didn't know. He said it wasn't a cord. Is there a standard size for a rack of wood and how much should it cost?

I found holes chewed in potato chip bags in my kitchen which is on the lower (a couple inches above the floor) cabinet I dumped all of the chips out in the garbage and no crap or no signs of any thing was in the bag this was on several bags of chips. It also did not chew through or get into anything in a carboard box in the same cabinet. I also found what looks to be but not sure mice crap in a drawer right below the counter top and chew marks on a zip lock bag with cookies and also a chew hole in a matts choclate chip bag. But I dont know how w/e it is is getting up there the drawer is always closed. Also found what looks to be mice crap in a drawer right below the counter top that holds wooden spoons. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. THanks!!!

I see in the Sears Catalog, they often sell A Drill and Driver as a set. Like those 19.2V battery ones. Both look fairly similar to me, and of course, I know what a Drill is.... but what is a Driver primarily used for?

I want to start making candles, just as a hobby. But the thing is I know nothing about it. So I have a few questions:

-What are all the supplies that I'll need?
-Are any supplies better than others?
-Can I get everything I need at AC Moore?
-Can crayons be used for coloring?
-What can be used for coloring and scenting?
-What are different types of candles that can be made (different techniques, etc)
-Anything else I need to know?

Thanks so much to anyone who answers..I have no clue what I'm doing here! =D

My dad collects all sorts of antiques, and my mom really likes old glassware, so we have a lot of depression-type and carnival glass in our china cabinets and secretary bookcase. I learned that shining a black light on a piece of vaseline glass will make it glow bright green (it's radioactive!). However, the glass itself is bright green, and black light makes anything neon colored glow!

Do I have to get a Geiger in on it, or is my technique all wrong?

It was really windy. My clothes dryer is in the garage. It's gas. Is it likely that the wind blew out the pilot light. That seems stupid, I know, but that's what someone told me.
What are some ways I can try to fix this myself?
