I have always been afraid of "Fix-A-Flat". It contains an acid to melt the rubber in the tire to seal the hole and it uses Propane or Butane for a propellant. (both dangerous and double dangerous together) It is only meant for a temp fix till you can get the tire repaired.
The green slime is a good idea, although expensive. But the best idea is to install an inner tube!

Your front tire probably does not have an inner tube in it so it is probably leaking around the seal. What I do first is put an inner tube inside it. Very cheap and it has always worked for me.
If you go the Fix a Flat method, that works, but be very careful with it. Once you use it you are not supposed to ever take the tire off the rim.
Good luck

If you have a nail or screw stuck in there, you can get a plug kit and fix the hole that way. They're very easy to use and are also inexpensive.
If you've got an older cracked tire, or maybe you're losing air around the valve then a can of that fix a flat stuff would be a better bet.

I would put an inner tube in it. Make sure that there is nothing sticking through the tire like a nail or piece of wire. Those small wheels/tires can be difficult but if you coat the rim and tire bead with dishwashing soap it will make it easier. Also if it is cold bring the tire in the house to warm it up.

If the tire itself is in relatively good shape, by all means, use an inner tube.
I recommend that you take it to a tire shop to tube it. Those small tires are more of a pain than you might think. I've only done 1 myself. It took me most of the day to get accomplished. It's worth the $5 or $10 that the shop will charge you.

unfortunately the mower u have is a finish mower and made for green grass only if u use it for a rough cut mower(Field/wildgrass) it will tear it up faster, now just bcuz it says sears does not make it good, actually the mower is made by a.y.p painted and stickered for sears. SLIME/TIRE SEALANT IN MY TWENTY YEARS IN THIS INDUSTRY DO NOT WORK. the way it was made to work is to put it in the tire b4 u have problems then it takes hours of operation to coat the inside of the tire. then it only works on tiny holes and not on the sidewall at all. Now every state will have a place u can buy little tires from I always recommended the heaviest ply tire u can buy in that size then add the sealant when new. not guaranteed tho or u can buy solid filled tires or have them foam filled which will make axle bearings wear faster, good luck
