My opinion every week but if your having guest over clean it before they get there and after they leave

If you give it a quick swipe every day you don't have to worry about any hard water build up etc. and don't need to use harsh chemicals that can be harmful to you and the environment.
Having boys in the house I'd rather give my toilets a quick swish and wipe down every day than waiting for a week.
If it's just you using it, you probably don't need to do it daily.

I give it a wipe everyday as i have small children. But it gets a good bleach clean just once a week.

Once a week should be okay..you can put Vanish in to keep it clean in between cleanings.

We don't unless there's a need; weekly at our house. And since we're on a septic system, we don't more often than that because the chemicals would be hard on the 'bugs'.

If one is a germophobe or it makes you happy and more comfortable then why not clean it daily.
