did you drain the gas tank after its last use at the end of last year? if not the gas would probably be bad. old gas "Varnishes up" and clogs carburetors. the old gas will have to be drained out, new gas put in, and then the carb will most likely need the deposits cleaned out. have a small engine technician do this. it should run just fine afterwards.

You're right, it's fuel starved. Try cleaning out the carb. Use some carb cleaner and a new fuel filter. Make sure you drain all of the tank and use new, fresh gas. Also some fuel treatment would help. When you get it running use StaBil.

The best thing to do is to remove the carburetor, take it apart and soak it in a good parts cleaner. Blow it out with compressed air and put it back together with a rebuild kit. Check the fuel tank for dirt and debris also.

it's not, the carb is prob gummed up from sitting and will need to be cleaned.
U can try taking off the air cleaner and spraying carb cleaner, but may need to take it to shop for service.
Next time either put fuel stabilizer in tank or drain carb and tank.

Did you have the choke on when you started it? When it did start, did you then turn off the choke?
