This will help just make your own cleaner it is less expensive and you know what chemicals are in it and you won't be poisoning the air or your health First make up this mixture with one cup of White Vinegar then add three tablespoons Dishwashing Liquid then fill the remainder of a clean spray bottle with warm water, then just spray the surface to be cleaned with this mixture allow to sit for a few minutes then wipe with a cloth or sponge, Whalla ! grease is gone and the surface will shine and be grease free no rubbing or scrubbing except for stubborn burnt on grease which only takes a little scrubbing with a scotch brite pad thats it Good Luck !

Dawn dish soap, full strength

Inexpensive shampoo, full strength

In a stove, I think you should cover the area with table salt, let sit overnight, then try to scrape the mess up with something not too sharp.... like a plastic spatula.

You will probably have to scrape most of it off, then use an oven cleaner; then once you have it clean put aluminum foil on the bottom--saves a lot of work next time.
