when we moved into our house, there was no stove, so we used the stove from our old home. BUT... the stove is about 2 inches narrower than the spot where it has to sit so there are gaps on either side. it doesnt really look that great and things fall down between the stove and cabinets. does anyone have any suggestions besides buying a new stove??? thanks in advance!

You could buy two 1" x 2" boards the length of your cupboard and paint them the color of your choice. Then mount them with glue or nails to the edge of the cupboard level with the top. A 1" board is actually 3/4", so two of them would take up 1 1/2" of space giving you 1/4" gap between the cupboard and the stove when you are finished.

Cheap fix, and it will work.

go to any sears/home depot they have a gap filler that will work for you
also if you go to a home depotyou could use a 2x4/2x6 to fill the front gaps if you wanted to untell you could get a new stove that will fit better or just move the cabnets
