Sheets and pillowcases: once a week if you wear pj's. Twice a week if you sleep naked. Comforters: once every 2-3 months providing you use sheets. Pillows catch a lot of head and neck sweat and should be laundered every three months. Use Arm and Hammer Washing Soda to help whiten and refresh bed linen.
Then, when you fold your bed linen. fold the top sheet in a long slender length, and fold it over the bottom folded sheet and however many pillow cases you use on your bed. Folded thusly, you can take the "packet" out of the linen closet in one bundle. Also, allow your bedding to "rest" for a week, which means use one set this week, the second set next week and keep alternating. This will allow the linens to rest and thus last longer.

Once a week is ideal for the sheets. I'd say once a month for the comforter. If you are prone to sweating alot, I'd suggest more often.

I wash them once a week in very hot water. The comforter is only twice during the winter season as it is so huge and thick it is very expensive to clean in the laundromat.

Did you pee the bed again? Oh honey... It's O.K....

I would say pretty much once a week, or every time there's some kind of thing on the sheets that you would'nt want yourself or someone else to sleep in.

If it's all nasty and damp in your room (like in a basement), I would say it probably would'nt hurt to do it more often.

I don't need to worry about it because I'm sleeping in the dog-house tonight. At least that's what my girlfriend says...

Sheets, weekly.

Comforter, monthly if you sleep with it on the bed. If it's only decorative you don't have to worry about it so often.

The ideal to keep dust mites down would be every three days. But once a week is fine.

The experts say once a week but I run a very busy schedule so I take a shower every night and day and any time in between if I have it, and wash them every other week.
