I want to buy a cordless screwdriver as a gift. I'm looking at the Mastercraft 3.6V Lithium Ion Screwdriver (item # 54-2740-8 at canadian tire) it seems a good value but I haven't had any recent experience with cordless screwdrivers. the last time i used one was nearly 20 years ago.

Can any one shed some light onto this and tell me if this product is good, or can you suggest an alternative?

What can I use to keep the multiple stray cats in my area from pooping/digging in my landscaping? I have tried different types of mulches, the hose, red pepper, moth balls, critter ridder, orange oil and plastic forks and none work. I also have a 125 lb. dog. I don't want to pay for cages and they will just put them to sleep anyway if I catch them and bring them to the pound. Any other suggestions that haven't already been mentioned in this forum?

Im installing my 12" Bosch sliding compound miter saw on a Ridged portable work stand. Im sceptical about using the whinny mounting screws that Ridgid supplies to hold saw in place. Does anyone have this kind of set up, and give some advise.

I steam cleaned my carpets 2 days ago, and they still have some spots that aren't completely dry...it's been raining here, and very warm and humid, so I guess that's why. But now they're starting to smell bad...kind of a damp, musty smell. How can I get rid of this odor???? You can smell it through the whole house!!!

every morning i sit on my front steps, and drink my coffee while my dog plays in the yard... but i always have to move the slugs before my dog licks 1... i thought i was saving them... i'd lift every 1 with a leaf and carefully place them in the garden together... BIG MISTAKE... only 1 very big slug would be left... so much for saving the slugs... i thought i was keeping their family together so they wouldnt' be lonely... i found out slugs are solitary creatures !!!

At the moment, I have grey and orange walls, and i have 'stuff' everywhere! Lets have a look at whats next to my bed on the table...

stereo, lamp, camera, some old gig tickets, usb cales, mobile phone, alarm clock, bracletts from holiday, ohh and fork!well you get the gist!

I want to decorate over my half term college holidays, and I want my room to be clutter free. Im have a blue carpet (kinda speckled type - with light blues and dark blues in it).. which I will keep becuase im a student on a budget...

but the real question is, what colours should I go for. Something that I wont get bored of quicky, will suit my age.

I was thinking a brown/blue/cream colours?

ANY IDEAS? Or mums n dads or people around my age, whats you rooms, sons room like?!

please help!!! :D

We recently purchased a new home, and I'm having issues arranging the furniture in our master bedroom. The only two walls that I can place my bed in front of each have a 37" square window. My bed would be directly in front of the window. I'd really like to position the bed diagonally, but the room feels really cramped that way.

How can I either conceal or decorate around the window? I'm really at a loss. My headboard is 61" high and covers the bottom 12-14" of the window. I'd like to put something on the wall to completely cover the window, but I have no idea what to do so with. HELP! Here is a photo of my bed and coordinating furniture: http://www.vaughan-bassett.com/index.cfm/go/collections.show/collection/8/grandmas-treasures-collection.cfm

I just had a bridal shower and I live in a small apartment, so I'm trying to make room for all my new things. I have a limited amount of space for sheets as well. Anyone know of any tricks for folding fitted sheets? I re-folded all the sheets and they are neater than before but still thick and bulky! HELP!!

I have a 7 year old Sears Gas Hot Water Heater. Several times when we have gone away for a day or more it seems as if the water heater went off and we only have luke warm water for a shower, etc. I go down to check the pilot lite and the burner is then working fine, and the hot water heater continues to work properly. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Is there a fuse that is out inside the dryer, could it be the electrical outlet? How can the light be on but the dryer does not work? it does not spin or anything.
