If you want to be cleaning soap suds out of your floor for the rest of the night then yes. Actually if you are out of dishwasher soap it wouldn't hurt to put a cup vinegar and a sprinkle or two of baking soda one time.:)

Nope, it'll foam up all over the place. Don't do it. I've seen it done and it fills the dishwasher from bottom to top with bubbles & suds that don't pop...when you open the dishwasher door, they spill out onto the floor like an episode of the Brady Bunch! It's hilarious, but VERY messy! d:)

I wouldnt because more than likely it will over suds and they will spill out of the dishwasher and make a terrible mess...

Looks like everybody took my answer NO. It will make a mess and ruin the seal of the dishwasher...been there done that...wasn't smart enough to ask first!!!!LOL

No plz dont do that my grandmama did that and she had bubbles eveywhere unless you want 2 play with bubbles you better not put dish soap in a dishwasher lol.

Only if you want to ruin your dishwasher. It has too much lather, it will go every where!

I think we all have tried this and learned a big lesson. I wont say what happens, I just want you to try it and see what happens. Trust me, youll laugh about it in a few years. It does get your dishes clean though.

Not unless you want your kitchen to turn into a large bubble bath. Use only dishwasher soap please.
