Add a strip of molding, corkboard strip, molding at slightly higher than eye level around the room. Enlarge your photos, and use the same framing and hang them from the corkboard all around. Switch out photos as you need them. Stack photography books and an old camera on a table in the corner. Either do all of your photos in tones of sepia, b/w tinted or b/w, OR frame them all in plain black to pull them together.

depends what kind of photographty. Colourful? Black white? To make it REALLY stand out, do the opposite form in which the picture is taken. For example, if I were doing colourful photography, I would paint the walls very grey. This would make the art totally stand out! Your accents in the room could be colourful too, like colourful lamps, etc.
Go ahead and be creative with it!

Cover a bulletin board in padded fabric. Attach strips of 3/4" ribbon in parallel diagonal lines, then attach the same number that go diangonally the other way (it ends up looking like a chain-link fence). Then, just slip your favorite pictures under the ribbon. It's easy to switch out the photos whenever you feel like it...you can even print out a title banner for the top. Easy to make, easy to keep fresh!

I would pain the walls red. Then on the biggest blank wall of the room, nail/screw a few feet of wire. Do it like 3 times spacing them like 2 feet apart. Then, hang your black & white photographs form them using clothespins. I swear it looks cool.
You can get an old funky headboard & make copies of some cool photos and decapage themonto your headboard. I woudl stick with a solid black, or white bedspread.
I would then get a long shelf adn hang it very, very high along the ceiling on one wall and find old cameras at yard sales & junk stores & display them up there.

Photo Display Ideas:
1] sepia photos on rose, peach or yellow wall [ like a gallery ]
2] black and white photos on a bright red, orange, lemon, grass green, royal blue, or purple wall
3] color photos on a white, ivory, beige, or pale gray wall
I would pick a mix of two colors max to display photos.
Get bedding/curtains/throw pillows that go with the wall colors.
Hang all pix starting at same height if on more than one wall.
Hang on empty wall, over bed if headboard of normal height, over desk [ not over furniture with mirror or book case on top. ]
If you frame them, use plain and similar color and material for all of it - oak or walnut, brass or chrome, colored enamel.
