I'm a stay home mom. I have 3 kids, 2 in school, the other is home with me. My problem is this...I cannot motivate myself to do anything. There's plenty of house work that needs to be done, I just can't seem to get the drive to get it done in the early hours and then I end up rushing around right before time for my husband to get in. I'm up at 4:30 every morning and I don't go to bed til 11 or later. I don't do much house work in the evenings because that's our family time. Does anyone have ideas or suggestions on what I can do to get that extra UMPH? Oh...and FYI, it's not like we're living in filth because I don't much. I do the basics, dishes, laundry, stuff like that, on a daily basis..it's just all the extra things like scrubbing floors, curtains that need new rods, closests that need cleaned out...those kinds of things.

I got new carpet installed that is much higher than the old stuff that came out and now need to plane off the bottom of the bedroom doors to clear. I need to know how much gap should there be in order for the air flow of the a/c system to work correctly? Thanks especially if there are any air conditioning service contractors out there.

The survey has come back saying that our mortage company ''assumes that all necessary statutory and local authority consent and approvals have been obtained for the conversion of the roof space are into an attic bedroom''. We have had the offer agreed at full price though.

The owner has previously told us he had the architect draw up the plans but due to the design and cost he had his qualified brother carry out the work. Obviously this is just his word.

We want to buy the house but need to know where we would stand if we did - or how would we get it approved and what are the timescales and cost involved?

Ant help in details woudl be GREATLY apprecaited - thank you :-)

We bought an old house and all the pipes are copper. Supply, drains, and the sewer line. The inspector joked that we could pay off our mortgage will all the copper.... I know that's an exaggeration, but have heard of copper thefts on the news.... The sewer line is about 40 ft long and 6 inched in diameter, would it be cost effective to replace this and sell the copper?

This is my first time using one.. Instead of learning the hard way, I thought I'd ask what I might do or pay attention to to make the job go well.

I've seen them used plenty so I think I know what to cut to achieve what I need.

thanks.

and does a primer significantly make a difference when using the best paints? How much more will it cost to prime first? Let's say I'm just doing 1 10x10 room (although I'm doing most of the main rooms of the house). :-)

Old early '80s Tappan brand plain-Jane no-frills residential gas stove (jets converted for propane when bought 20 yrs ago). Now I turn the valve/knob on for the left front burner & gas spews out but never lights. Put a lit match to it & it fires up just fine & operates normally from there. Must do this every time now. Left-rear (from same pilot light) works fine. Same for both right-side burners; they're OK too. Only the left front has the problem. Never a sign of weak flame before demise. Just suddenlt went ka-put. Worked great last time I used it (2 days ago). Went back a few hours later to make dinner & nothing. never any other problems.
Any ideas?

Thanks

I think that's what they are called. They have a shape like a spider mum, but the ends of the petals are shredded. They look like a spider mum that was put head first into a garbage disposal. Haven't seen them in years and would love to get some - either flowers or plants.

I have some flowers from my boyfriend/bestfriends funeral. I would really like to keep them forever! Ive heard about drying flowers but dont know how to do it. Also to press them. Now if I figure out how to dry them Ive heard they kinda keep their shape. Im afraid they would get torn up that way....What I think I would really like to do is press them that way I can frame them. A friend told me that pressing might be hard to do since the stems are so big. The main flower that has to be done perfect is a sunflower. My friend said that flower has a real "meaty" thick center to it and might be real hard to press. There are stargazer lilys and some others I dont know.

So please give me an idea of what I can do. Im hoping to get complete instructions if you have that or maybe tell me what your own experience is. I dont know if I could take them somewhere to have this done.? Any information would be helpful...Thank You!

i currently have an IKEA termosfar track light set now, but i just heard from another friend (who has the same system) that it can only be installed with a overhead light already in place.
OR does someone know how to switch which outlets are connected to the light switch in the room? currently the only one is next to the bed, an needless to say, its pretty dark in the bedroom!
