The tree appears to be dying in the areas where this stuff is. What is it, and how do I get rid of it? Will the tree survive?

Most of the places I go to don't have herb seeds at this time of year, and the one that does only has spearmint and peppermint. I got the spearmint, but is there really such thing as a chocolate mint plant? Does it taste any good?

I have lots of trees on my property and every fall I rake up lots of leaves from my driveway, walkway, and small lawn. I have tried composing them, but I never have enough grass and kitchen waist to even out the ratio.

I have visited two local coffee houses and I pick up there left over coffee grinds and that helps the pile out for about a week or two.

Is there anything else I can do to help speed up the composting? Fall is on its way and I haven't even finished composting last fall (or the fall befor that!) leaves yet! O.o

I have a Jet Pilot MVP woman's vest that has gotten grungy. Can I just hand wash it with Woolite? Or should I use no soap products at all? There is no tag for how to clean it and I don't see anything on their website regarding cleaning.

Hi! I have tried to research this question on my own and can't seem to find an answer. It is about a tree I have in my yard here in So. California. This tree (literally) sheds once a year. The first stage is when it develops it's "flower". This looks like a small off white or very pale yellow puff ball. When it sheds it looks almost as if it's snowed in our yard. Tiny hair like pieces and seeds come down and cover the yard. It causes many people to have an allergic reaction. After all of this "fur" falls a tiny maroon berry grows and falls off. Let me add that the tree started off looking like a large bush and has grown huge. It's leaves are small and dark green. It also attracts bees when it is flowering. Anyone know a name??

I have a cable wire coming up through the floor about 1 foot from the wall in my Living Room from the Basement. I am getting ready to put down laminate hardwoods, and cannot have a wire coming through the floor. What do I need to do in order to be able to relocate the wire to the wall and place a cable co-axle plate on it?

How do you remove mildew from a material that resembles a potato sack/canvas material?
My kids left a beach bag on the floor of my shed and now it is all mildew.
I tried Oxyclean-------nothing.
I tried leaving it in the sun for a week-------nothing.
I tried Grease Lightning----------nothing.

I do not want to use bleach being it has a solar changing color print on it and dark green handles. Any suggestions?

OH! and where do you find "bluing" (what brand is it called and look like) for whiting whites?
Not in Walmart or my local grocery store.

We recently cleaned our house and tried to clean our tuop bedroom windows which had some sort of clear water looking stains on them. My mom thinks its acid rain or something and we`ve tried vinegar, window cleaner plus, rubbing alcohol, amonia, and two other cleaners offered by some window specialists. Wondering if anybody else has any suggestions on removing window stains. Also, I don`t know if this has any importance but my dad thinks the windows are defective and trapped some water in between the panes or something. I`ve seen at least 3 of our neighbors replacing their upper level bedroom windows as well as their sliding glass door. Is it defective or can I try something else to clean it?

I've done the news paper, the kindling, fire lighters, set it going lovely, put the coal on and it still doesn't work. It works for a bit, but not what you'd call a long lasting flame for the evening. It's an open fire, as aposed to the glass shut door type. Maybe I need wood?

man this is so irritating. time and time again after 45 min of having a light load in different dryers, my stuff still doesn't get dry. its usually my socks and that frustates me beyond imagination because i want to put on a warm dry pair when im done. but i noticed my boxer briefs are still damp too. the towel doesnt bother me and suprising enough the jeans are usually dry. i even took everything out and let the socks dry by themselves for another cycle and it didnt work
