movers dropped our dresser and crushed 1 corner. i have patched corner with plastic wood but surface does not match the rest of bureau. I live in Frederick MD

They also carry a full line of stains and finishes.

If the movers dropped it, you may have actually been able to take to a furniture repair shop at their expense, or insurance... something to look into.

You did not state which corner was damaged... top, bottom, back, front.. or whether it had a flat, rounded, etc edge.
Where the damage is at, and what kind of damage, will dictate which are the best repair methods, and unfortunately, not enough information was supplied here with this question to help answer that.

Look for a Woodcraft store or Rockler Hardware

Both have websites but the people at the local store will show you how to make the repair......
