if i put a shirt in the washing machine si it possible fro it to shrink?

If it is 100% cotton and not preshrunk it may shrink. Check the laundering directions on the tag to minimize any shrinkage.

If you wash the shirt in cold water,and air dry it,then it should not shrink.

If you wash it in cold water and do NOT put it in the dryer
it will probably not shrink, and if it does,, it will just a little bit.

some Silks
100% Cotton
Linen
Will shrink in warm water. You can wash them cold and hang them to dry without shrinking.

Read the directions on the shirt, if it says dryclean only or not preshrunk, it will probably shrink

Don't wash in hot water, this will cause shrinkage....
