I'm developing a piece of property. I just looked at the site plan and i currently have to put in a 700' section of road.

Blacktop/Asphalt only, 24' wide private road, no sidewalks, 4" of asphalt surface. I'll have to run standard storm drains, utilities (water)...sewer main is already there (so i'll only have to run side-sewers from each unit to the main)...will put in natural gas line, electricity.

This is in the State of Washington, city of Black Diamond (30 mins south of Seattle)

Any idea of what I can estimate the cost (per lineal foot) for constructing this road?

Just FYI -- I have gone to several on-line sites and tried their calculators. I've found out that i need about 415 tons of asphalt hot-mix material, but that's all the calculators will say. None of them get into any detail or depth about total road cost. The area is level, will need minimal grading, very little fill. Most likely a crush-rock base course.

I just saw the astronaut farmer and so my son and me are trying to build our own rocket. This one is really more for practice and can only fit him and a parachute but its still like ten feet tall! Its going good and pretty much finished, but like farmer Im having some problems with fuel. I'm using gasoline (91 octane) cause it the only good fuel in my area (I live out in the country). The real problem is Im not sure how much I'll need. We have a 20 gal tank right behind the passenger seat but not really sure thats going to be enough to make it to space. The thing already has a decent chunk of weight from the steel tube its built in and my mothers oxygen tank which I strapped next to the passenger for when the rocket gets into space. I'm also having some trouble with lighting the damn thing. It aint no bottle rocket. I was think I should just drill a hole in the top of the tank and stuff an oily rag in their to light but I dont know. Any ideas? Serious answers only please.

I'm sharing a rather nice multi-bedroom dorm with a common area and a kitchen and communal bathroom. The thing is, my bedroom doesn't have a lock on the door. I don't want to drill a hole in the door or anything, but is there a way to install a lock on it that's easy to take off afterwards? And doesn't cost the moon, if possible?

I have a 1998 Craftman self propelled lawnmower with a 6.75 H.P. Eager-1 Tecumseh engine. Everytime I start it, it runs perfect for about 1 second and then it quits running like someone hitting the kill switch. When I actually do get it started it reves back and forth. You can actually see the govenor pivoting back and forth. What would cause this and how would one fix this problem?

My overhead fan in my bedroom makes a clicking noise, not right away but after like 20 seconds after use on high. on medium it makes little noise and on low just the typical noise a fan makes. If anyone could help me I tried tightening the top screws at the fan's base but no luck the fan keeps annoying me.

When I flush the toilet, the water rises until the top, and then once the tank stops filling up, the toilet bowl water will start to slowly go down... but there is no definite "flush". I don't think it is clogged because I have plunged it for quite some time. Also, I found out the water had been turned off by my roommate, when I turned it on, it seemed as if the toilet was going to over flow so I quickly turned the water off again. Any help?
