I need my bathroom basically remodeled and I am clueless how to get started. I have a good idea what I want but I don't know how to find someone to do it - they don't leave cards or flyers like the pool and yard service people do. Any suggestions? Where I start looking?

Its on the outside of the shower doors where the rubber seal goes around the frame. Its also around the sliding track that holds the doors. I've tried the bleach/water trick and it didn't even do anything. I even tried brushing it with a stiff brush and no luck. Is there a solution that works on this stuff?

I am looking for the Outdoor Princess Mural in the Disney Home book by Imperial. It is pattern #DF059902M. For our summer project we are trying to remake a princess bedroom for my daughter, but I have a very limited budget. She desperately wants this one, but the cheapest I can find it is $299 includes shipping.

Does anyone know a cheaper website or know someone who sells wallpaper/ murals that could help me find it cheaper?

I have recently had my walls skimmed by a plasterer. The plaster has dried but painting the walls seems to use up a lot of paint, is there anything I can put on the new plaster to stop it soaking so much up?

A friend of mine has a photograph of her late father holding her oldest daughter when she was a baby . Obviously, this photo means a lot to her . At one time, this photo was put in a frame behind a sheet of glass . Some condensation happened, causing the photo to be stuck to the sheet of glass . The sheet of glass got broken into four pieces . One of the pieces got lost . There are three pieces left and they're stuck to the photo . Can the pieces of glass somehow be removed without ruining the photograph ?

We are looking at a house to buy which has asbestos siding. The siding is in good condition, no major breaks/cracks. However, we would like to eventually vinly side the house and wondered if just going over the old siding would be fine. I have heard that it is OK to do so if the asbestos siding is in good condition. Anyone know if this is a good idea?

There is a room in my (grandma's) house that hasn't been lived in in about 30 years. It had become the "junk room" of her house, completely filled with old mail and old clothes and old baby toys. I've been working on clearing it out the past few weeks on garbage days and I've just about got it all done. The walls are disgusting as is the carpet, and we need to fix it all up for somebody to live in. So I have a few questions!

1) Would you recommend painting the walls or putting new carpet in first?

2) There's scum on the walls, and water marks streaking down from rain getting in through the window. Saying this, do you think I would be able to handle fixing up and painting the walls myself or should I hire someone?

3) About how much would it cost to hire someone for the painting job?

4) One of the walls has wood paneling with groove lines down each panel, and the other 3 are just flat white walls... how can I make the wood panels flat to match the other walls?

Thanks!

The leaves on my potato plants look like they have a bunch of small pinholes on each leave. They aren't big holes like a Japanese beetle would make and Japanese beetles haven't hatched from their larvae stage yet so I know it isn't them. What could be causing it? Is it some disease or some small bug?
