Of course I would, $10 is a lot less then I would normally pay.
It is a perfect small business idea and good luck to you!

Well, I do most things for myself.
But, if you thinking of this for self-employment, then it is a good idea. I know a few people who do this and are happy with it. In time they have built up a customer base and do Shopping, Errands, and even drive people to and from the Doctor. One girl even takes a Digital Camera with her and can take pictures for a person to see 2-3 items to decide which they want, (Like a Lamp or Chair etc.). I actually used her camera idea for a lady to decide on a Lift Chair.
You may want to charge a little more, you need to consider cost of Fuel and all those things we never think of and wonder why we not making money.
I am BACK! Ha! I made a quick phone call and this one girl say she charge $25 an hour and everyone is OK with that price.

No, because I usually have a general idea of what I am going to look for and what price I will pay. Shopping has to many instant decisions to send someone else. I won't send my husband much less pay someone to go.

I wouldn't. Sometimes, that's the only exercise I get. Besides, I usually take the kids with me, so it basically turns out to be quality time, as well as errand time.

I would pay them $10 to clean up after me. Running errands doesn't bother me. Cleaning bothers me.

Yes. Here in Metro NY that is reasonable. Other areas where cost of living is less, you might not be able to get as much.

Ten dollars per hour is a bit steep, but I would not hesitate to pay eight!!!

I would happily do it, but I hate shopping. If it makes sense for you, I say go for it. So then, when can you start?!?
